ITC Hydraulics and Superior Wild Well Control have entered into a collaboration agreement to provide subsea shear cutting packages through ITC. The package core components will be the Wild Well 660 Shears and ITC Combi-Reeler® with additional resources and equipment supplied as required. The package is suitable for a variety of severing operations and is not limited to subsea work, as it is equally capable for back of vessel and land operations. The collaboration brings a number of benefits including reduced footprint, personnel, costs and operational risks. It also provides access to Wild Wells’ experience and ITC’s engineering and fabrication capability for any specialist support equipment. The equipment will be stored and maintained at ITC’s facility in Oldmeldrum, the 660 Shears and Combi-Reeler are available for individual hire.

ITC MD Tracy Clark said, “the ITC Combi-Reeler® and the Wild Well Shear is a natural fit and provides the best possible package for cutting operations, our companies have worked together for a long time and developed strong relationships, it is very encouraging that a global service company such as Superior Wild Well wants to collaborate with ITC.

Wade Caffarel Wild Well TS Manager stated, “the combination of our Shears with ITC’s Combi-Reeler® will provide operators a proven and efficient severing solution, backed by ITC’s insightful engineering and fabrication support”.
