Astrimar Ltd are celebrating 10 years in business this May! The independent specialist engineering consultancy, was founded in April 2010. Astrimar Director Caroline Roberts-Haritonov says “We are thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of success with our business, and given the current lockdown situation , we decided as a team that as part of our celebrations we would give something back to the communities where we operate”. As part of their tenth anniversary celebrations, Astrimar are kick-starting with a Fundraising campaign, ‘Walk 500 Miles’. Astrimar’s team of 8, aim to walk a collective distance of 16 miles per day, for the month of May with the goal of walking a total distance of 500 miles by 31st May. The 500 miles mark the distance between Astrimar’s two offices, their Cranfield HQ near Milton Keynes to the Aberdeen area office, in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
The Astrimar team are raising funds for two very important charities, local to each office: Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes & Mental Health Aberdeen, and have set a Just Giving page set up called “AstrimarTeamWalk”. Both charities are particularly grateful of any funds raised, especially during this current situation due to COVID-19 and the sudden oil price slump.
Astrimar’s social media feeds will be updated with progress to both the distance and fundraising goals over the whole month.
