Following the success of the 2016 Project Management Mentoring Program in the Oil and Gas Region, the ECITB is pleased to announce the launch recruitment for 2017. In 2016, 15 mentoring pairings successfully completed the program from across fifteen different companies including operators, contractors and supply chain companies. This program is overseen by the Offshore Project Management Steering Group (OPMSG), and the ECITB.
Applications are being invited from Project Management Professionals in the oil and gas industry who are interested in receiving six months of project management mentoring from experienced industry leaders. Based in the Aberdeen area, there will be two streams of mentoring within the programme – Foundation and Strategic Level – to accommodate suitable alignment in mentee’s career progression. Project Management Practitioners will be sharing their knowledge, skills and experience to assist Mentee’s progress in their career. As a cross oil and gas industry programme this mentoring invitation is open to Project Management Professionals employed across the whole industry.

Mentor Applications
Applications are also invited from Project Management Professionals who are interested in becoming an ECITB Recognised Project Management Mentor. For further information about the program, and mentoring levels, please see the attached flyer and go to the ECITB Project Management Mentoring Webpage. Please submit an expression of interest with CV via email to pm-mentoring@ecitb.org.uk with statement of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and mentoring and reasons for wishing to commit to PM mentoring.
