Decom North Sea have issued a Call for Board Nominations to Decom North Sea members.
The Decom North Sea Board fully represents the membership and board members have the time and commitment to work with the executive to continue to develop Decom North Sea as the leading and only organisation focussed on developing solutions for the North Sea decommissioning market.
Decom North Sea Members have until Monday 24 October 2016 to put forward a nomination for the Board.
Nominations are being sought in the following categories:
As well as ensuring that there is adequate representation across the various sectors of the industry, it is also important that members from around the various North Sea regions are represented so nominations from across Europe are encouraged.
The Board generally meets bi-monthly and has overall responsibility for ensuring Decom North Sea meets the needs of the members. The Board is also responsible for maintaining membership rules and regulations.
Decom North Sea are looking for those that will contribute to the future direction of Decom North Sea and embrace their duties as board members. Can you bring innovation, creativity and a willingness to invest time in a vibrant and sector leading organisation? Board members are expected to be able to commit up to two days per month in the execution of their duties as directors.
The Call for Board Nominations also included a notification of the Decom North Sea Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held at 5.00pm on Monday 14 November 2016 at the Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews. Nominations for the Board of Decom North Sea will be considered and confirmed at the AGM. Further details about the AGM will be circulated to Decom North Sea members in due course.
