Global logistics specialist Peterson has made a new senior appointment to oversee its Americas operation.
Dutch national Joost Perquin joins as regional director responsible for the Americas region, based in Houston.
Perquin was previously at Tetra Offshore Services, a contractor in the US Gulf of Mexico with a strong focus on offshore decommissioning. He will support Peterson’s activities in this area.
Prior to joining TETRA Perquin held a number of senior roles in supply chain and logistics.
Chief executive of Peterson Offshore Group, Erwin Kooij, said: “Joost is a talented and experienced individual who brings a wealth of knowledge of the Americas and I am looking forward to working with him to grow our business in this important region.”
Perquin added: “Low oil prices are driving customers to look to improve efficiencies and reduce cost in their logistics operations. I appreciate the trust the management team are placing in me in contributing to the company’s ongoing success.”
