At its inception the End of Engineered Life Programme will host a workshop on 8 and 9 July 2019 in London bringing together stakeholders from industry, academia and government in a multidisciplinary, multisector effort that addresses fundamental safety challenges in Decommissioning of Offshore Structures, including Ships across the world. The theme for this workshop will be to 'Achieve safety though raising standards, improving  consistency and spreading the implementation of best practices in the global handling of the decommissioning of offshore systems, including ships'. More details on the workshop can be found here and we are inviting applications for the following:

  • Workshop Participants - we are looking for applications from a broad range of stakeholders from across the world to participate in the workshop including e.g. regulators, governments, asset owners, engineers, academics, representatives of affected communities and many others. Travel and accommodation will be provided and participants will get the opportunity to bid for funding after the event to undertake ambitious collaborations which will drive real improvements in safety in decommissionng of offshore structures including ships across the world. If you are interested in participating, please submit the expression of interest form below. We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis and so early applications are advised.
