Managing health and safety in the oil and gas industry can be complex - presenting our industry with many challenges as well as opportunities.
Oil & Gas UK's upcoming Health & Safety Seminar will highlight various issues and also turn the spotlight on some of the hazards, risks and key industry issues.
Maintaining safe operations through to decommissioning and how we look after the health, safety and well-being of our workforce will be covered during the seminar.
Notable speakers include Chris Flint, the Head of the Energy Division within HSE, who will deliver the opening keynote address. This will be followed by a number of presentations from the Health & Safety Executive and industry.
This seminar - which replaces the trade body's Occupational Health Seminar - will give insights into the latest developments in the management of health and safety hazards and the promotion of the well-being of the workforce. It is also an excellent opportunity to network with industry peers.
It should be of interest to those managing major hazards as well as those who look after occupational health and safety - such as occupational health and hygiene professionals, operations and business managers, risk/safety managers, health and safety professionals as well as members of the medical community.
