This is event marks the launch of a new network of Data Science enthusiasts in Aberdeen. This Meetup will consist of periodic events and it is open for anyone interested in Data Science, Big Data, Analytics and Technology. The aim is to build a data science community in Aberdeen; to provide a platform that facilitates discussion and exhange of ideas and experiences. We hope to cover a range of topics from the core concepts arous data science and analytics; to skills shortages and data science application case studies. All skill levels are welcome.

Gregor Higgins, Consultant at Eyecademy: Gregor manages the BP Analytics team at Eyecademy, who produce dashboards and scorecards for BP’s PEI team (Performance Efficiency Improvement).
Paul Forrest, Senior Partner at Consilium Analytics / Chairman at MBN Solutions: Paul Forrest has some twenty-five years’ experience of helping businesses to solve complex business problems, deliver their transformation goals and to achieve tangible strategic outcomes.
